Welcome to Waveney Surf Life Saving Club!

​

Founded in 2016 we began with the aim to help teach vital life-saving techniques to the local community and help improve fitness and beach safety knowledge around Lowestoft and Southwold.

​

We run weekly beach training in the summer to our Senior (18+), Youth (13 – 17) and Nipper (7 – 12) teams.

​

Over the winter period we train in the pool, run ski/board sessions on the broads and hold weekly running sessions to ensure we are ready for the beach season in the summer months.

​

Across the year, we participate in local and national Surf Life Saving competitions.

 

We strive to teach people the dangers of the sea and beach environment and what to do if an incident occurs.
